DAY 1: Cairo
From your international flight, arrive in Cairo International Airport. Our agent will meet you at the airport and assist you through immigration, baggage claim, and customs, and will obtain your visa to enter the country ($25 cash). Transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, enjoy a dinner cruise aboard the “Nile Pharaoh” complete with bellydancer show. Overnight in the hotel. D (cruise)
DAY 2: Cairo
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and then enjoy a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — the Pyramids of Giza. Also gaze upon the Great Sphinx, one of the most famous monuments in the whole world. Travel by private A/C bus to Memphis, capital of ancient Egypt, and to see the famous step pyramid of Pharaoh Zoser at Saqqara. Finish the day at a carpet school to learn how carpets have been made since the time of the Pharaohs. Overnight at hotel. B
DAY 3: Cairo
Breakfast and then take a city tour to the Egyptian Museum to view the greatest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, including the King Tut treasures. Then enjoy the Citadel, the Mohamed Ali Mosque, and historic Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Check into and overnight in an Aswan hotel. B
DAY 4: Aswan
Breakfast and check into your Nile cruise. Take a felucca ride or visit the High Dam, the Philae Temple and the botanical garden. Enjoy the lovely weather tonight on an evening cruise of Aswan. Dinner and overnight on the cruise. B, L, D
DAY 5: Edfu
Visit a fascinating “dual temple” in Kom Ombo honoring Sobek, the crocodile God of fertility, and Horus, the falcon god (also called “Horus the Elder”). Return to your cruise ship for lunch and sail to Edfu, where you will visit the best-preserved temple in Egypt, also dedicated to Horus the Falcon God. Sail overnight to Luxor. B, L, D
DAY 6: Luxor
Arrive in Luxor, the modern name for the ancient city of Thebes. This thriving metropolis was once the capital of Egypt and was made up of two cities, one on the West Bank of the Nile and one on the East Bank. Visit the amazing Temples of Karnak and Luxor (optional excursions available). Return and overnight on the Nile cruise. B, L, D
DAY 7: Luxor
Check out from your Nile Cruise and into your hotel in Luxor. Cross to the West Bank, where you will visit the Necropolis (“City of the Dead”) of Thebes and the famous Valley of the Kings, where 64 of Egypt’s Pharaohs had their tombs carved out of solid rock. You will also see the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Some optional excursions available. Overnight in the hotel. B
DAY 8: Hurghada
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and travel by private A/C bus to Hurghada. Take the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy shopping, a Bedouin dinner, a trip on a glass-bottom boat, swimming, snorkeling in the Red Sea, or sun bathing on its beaches. Overnight in the hotel at Hurghada. B
DAY 9: Sharm El Sheikh
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and enjoy the ferry to Sharm El Sheikh. Check into your hotel and spend a day at leisure at a second amazing Red Sea resort (shopping, dining, swimming, water sports, and more). Overnight in the hotel. B
DAY 10: Sharm El Sheikh
Perhaps after breakfast you might enjoy a free day at the beach, shopping, dining, swimming, water sports, or try one of our optional excursions. Overnight in the hotel. B

Breakfast and leisure time or try one of our optional excursions. Overnight in the hotel. B
DAY 12: Cairo
Breakfast and flight to Cairo, and check into your hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure to relax in this bustling city (many optional excursions available, including a trip to the Pharaonic Village). Overnight hotel. B
DAY 13: Alexandria
After an early breakfast, get ready for a day trip to Alexandria by private A/C bus. Visit Qaitbay Citadel, the Catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar at Kom El Shugafa, and the amazing Library at Alexandria. Return to Cairo and overnight in Cairo hotel. B
DAY 14: Desert Oasis
Breakfast and check out, then take your private A/C bus to Bahariya Oasis. Upon arrival, check in at the safari camp and enjoy a simple lunch. A local tour guide will show you the natural hot springs, Pyramid Mountain, English Mountain, Temple of Alexander, and Temple of Mummies. Dinner and overnight. B, L
DAY 15: Desert Oasis
Breakfast and transfer by Jeep to the White Desert. Along the way visit Crystal Mountain, Flower Mountain, and the Black Desert, all the while enjoying the sand dunes and valleys. Arrive in the White Desert by sunset, enjoy campfire cooking for dinner, and pitch a tent under a canopy of a million stars! Camp overnight in the White Desert. B, L, D
DAY 16: Cairo
After breakfast, strike camp and prepare for your journey back to Cairo. Once there, check into your hotel to relax before venturing back out on one of our optional excursions. Overnight in the hotel. B
DAY 17: Cairo
After breakfast and depending on the time of your flight, bid farewell to this unforgettable country as you transfer to the Cairo International Airport for your return flight home. B
